For many months I have been trying to come up with a unique name for my website and perhaps my future "business". A name that reflects the true essence of what I feel, both emotionally and spiritually, when I am digitally recording all things around me. A name that would describe my zone, my escape, my "private Idaho".
In Malay, "sentosa" translates to "peaceful" or "tranquil" in the English language. I bumped into this by accident when I was researching the word "halcyon". Liking the interpretation and its uniqueness, I still wanted to take the name a step further to incorporate the element of nature, my favorite subject to photograph. "Wind" seemed appropriate. It's a force that cannot be seen, but it can be felt. Just like emotions. A person cannot see an emotion that stirs inside, but it can be "felt". By that I mean, emotion can be visually expressed, but the actual internal emotion is invisible.
